He was predeceased by: his parents, James T. Hunter and Hattie Hunter; his wife Lillian Griffin Hunter; his daughter Sandra K. Gray; his granddaughter Andrea K. Gray; and his sister Mattie Sue Allison.
He is survived by: his children, Beverly Earnest (Wayne) of Jasper, Kathey Raines (Davis) of Nashville, TN and Terry Hunter (Sherry) of Carbon Hill; his grandchildren, Amy Humphreys (Johnny), Daniel Gray, Brian Earnest (Katie), Jaime Comer, Terry Lee Hunter, Jr. and Jessica Taft (William); and also, Sandy Taylor, Regina Ferguson, Kelsey Mobley, Julia Concord and Tracy Clark. He is also survived by 9 Great Grandchildren.
The family requests that those in attendance wear masks and practice safe distance out of respect to those at risk for COVID.
