She was predeceased by: her husband Hoke Hewett; and her parents, Frank and Ada McDonnell of Brisbane. She is survived by: her daughters, Diana Wynn (Bob) and Kelli Taylor (Daniel); her grandsons, Christopher Hewett, Michael Hewett and John Wynn; and her great grandchildren, Braydon, Cameron and Conner Hewett.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in her name.
