He was predeceased by: his former wife Illa Vanetta Bannister; his wife Alda Bannister; his parents, James Bannister and Aler Bannister; his grandsons, Donald Pike and Jonathan Seriana; and his sisters, Mary Smith, Dorothy Smith and Judy Brown.
He is survived by: his children, Rick Bannister (Glenda), Karen Bannister Seriana (Tim), Linda Pike (Ken) and David James Bannister (Mysti); his grandchildren, Jason Bannister, Daniel Bannister, Gene Jones, Clint Pike, Cole Bannister Ryan Bannister, David Pock, Aaron Pock, Jamie Seriana and Tabatha Seriana; and his cousin Shirley Bannister Adams. He is also survived by 21 great grandchildren.
