He was predeceased by: his parents, John Albert and Ruby Lee Hendley; his wife Charlotte Diane Lucus; his daughter Stacey Amanda Hendley; and his siblings, Katherine Taylor, Ruby Grace Gordon, Jay Hendley, J. W. Hendley, Nelson Hendley, Billy Joe Hendley and Tim Hendley.
He is survived by: his daughter Teresa Hendley Inhulsen (Bert); his grandson Brett Montgomery Boykin; and his sisters, Anna Virgina Davis, Marilyn Long, Lillie Williams and Mitzi Bounds. He is also survived by other family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Bumpers Funeral Home (302 Vanity Fair Ave, Butler, AL 36904). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
