She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Thomas Harold Smith, Sr.; her daughter Dr. Linda Smith York (David A. York) of Glencoe; her grandson Joseph Aaron (Kathryn McGaw York); her great grandchildren, Emma Rose York and Herschel Adam York of Water Valley; her granddaughter Sarah Skeen of Denver; her son Thomas Harold Smith, Jr. (Hal); her grandson Dr. Jake Adam York of Denver, Colorado.; her parents, Thomas Jefferson Brown and Margaret Frances Brown (Frankie); and her nephews, Walt Plimpton, Bill Abel, Jr. and Greg Abel. She was also cherished by nieces and nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church Glencoe Building Fund.
