He was predeceased by: his father C. D. "Shorty" Rountree; and his sister Darlene Parker. He is survived by: his daughter Tiffany Cochran; his grandchildren, Alex and Hailey Cochran; his mother Nellie Rountree; and his siblings, Shirley Reaves, Sandra Heath (Tony) and Darrell Rountree (Tammy). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
