He was predeceased by: his parents, Slater Turner, Sr. and Ida Bell Turner. He is survived by: his wife Gwendolyn Turner; his children, LaTonya Robinson (Corey), Trina Turner-Cobb, Tiffini Nettles, Shemia Turner (Franco), Tiara Turner, Tiona Turner, Tommye Wilson (Keisha), Scottie Wilson, Adrian Winters and Tomasena Dumas (Marcus); and his siblings, Freddie Turner, Sr. (Kathleen), James Turner (Lenora), Dorothy Turner-Cravin, Steve Turner (Shelia) and Doris Turner-Jackson. He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
