She was predeceased by: her parents, Gabriel Claude Gavin and Bertie Manley Gavin. She is survived by: her husband Arthur Robert Holmes; her daughters, Rhonda Holmes Searcy (Lawton) of Baton Rouge, LA and Rebecca Holmes Buzbee (Donald) of Mobile, AL; her siblings, Margaret Gavin Underhill of Butler, AL and Gabe Gavin (Pat) of Nanafalia, AL.; her grandchildren, Robert Searcy (Kellie) of Lafayette, LA, Eric Searcy of Baton Rouge, LA, Emileigh Bernard (Joey) and Gavin Buzbee (Alicia); her great grandchildren, Mamie, Foster Searcy of Lafayette, LA and Jace Tyler Buzbee of Mobile, AL.; her grandsons, Morgan Buzbee, Joey Bernard and Donald Buzbee; and her son-in-law Craig Gavin.
