He was predeceased by: his parents, Grover Austin of Washington and Virginia Lois Austin; his sister-in-law Gail Austin; and his parents-in-law, Arthur Fleming and Flora Tatum Fleming.
He is survived by: his wife Merlyn Fleming Austin; his daughters, Kelley Austin Fralish (Vince Fralish) and Karmen Austin Howard (Brett Harris Howard); his brother Rickie Wayne Austin; his grandchildren, Kade Fralish (Samantha), Judson Howard, Abby Crider (Cord), Hannah Brown (Nathan), Jordan Bauer (Gil), Zeke Fralish and Kelley Grace Howard; and his great grandchildren, Preston Fralish, Mason Fralish, Tucker Fralish and Henry Crider. He is also survived by cousins, several nieces and nephews.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the Troy Animal Rescue Project.
