He is survived by: his wife Jane McKenzie; his stepmother Jennie Sue McKenzie; his children, Rachel, John Pinkerton of Tennessee, Cynthia McKenzie of Tennessee and Samantha McKenzie of North Carolina; his grandchildren, Eddie, Alyssa and Lily; and his siblings, David (Robbi), Debbie (Bobby), Lisa (Tom), Kathy (Phillip), Renee, Tim (Amanda) and Tammy (Brian). He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews.
