He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy S. Kelly and Velma Voncile Lee Kelly; and his son Lee Jonathan Kelly. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Kennedy Kelly of Brewton, AL; his sons, Phillip Clay Kelly of Atlanta, GA, Keith Lynn Fields of Anniston, AL and James Christopher Fields of Pensacola, FL; and his grandchildren, Erin Suero (Jonathon) and Alisha Kelly.
