She was predeceased by: her son Nicholas LaCliff Compton; and her parents, Walter Calvin and Willie Evelyn Bozeman Bush. She is survived by: her husband P. L. Compton; her children, Rickey Compton and Lisa Johnston (Mark); her grandchildren, Jason Compton, Ethan Compton (Lindsey), Sarah Compton, Zachary Johnston (Ashley) and Caleb Johnston (Rebekah); her great grandchildren, Harrison Compton, Olivia Johnston and Asher Johnston; and her siblings, Sue Helms, Julia Wilson (Steve) and Jerry Bush (Georgia).
