It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Stephen Douglas Crump of Birmingham, Alabama, who passed away on March 24, 2022, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry "Cat" Ellis and Marguerite Louise Cassary Crump; his sons, Jason, Bryan and Stevie; and his grandson Devin.

He is survived by: his son Michael Howell (Chrissy); his grandchildren, Allison, Kane Howell, Heavin, Jonathan, Sarah, Cam, Halee Price, Erica Ware and Hunter Ware; his great grandchildren, Sage, Lola and Piper; and his pets, Vader and DJ.

In lieu of flowers, we ask that donations be made to either Edgewater Methodist or Edgewater Baptist Church as they are both coming together on this day for our family & have done so for generations.
