With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Solomon P. Kimerling of Birmingham, Alabama, who passed away on April 7, 2022 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Zade; his wife Rita Capouya Kimerling; his children, Elise Kimerling Wirtschafter (Gary Wirtschafter) of Beverly Hills, CA, Judith P. Kimerling of New York City, Michael E. Kimerling (Anne Dumoulin) of Paris, France and Leslie M. Kimerling (Butch Weaver) of Boulder, CO; his grandchildren, Eric D. Wirtschafter (Gloriana Mohr), Carla M. Wirtschafter (Joseph Thorpe) and Valerie A. Wirtschafter (Cody Giddings); his great grandchildren, Landon and William Wirtschafter; his grandchildren, Avital, Erez, Oren Gan-Levy and Julian Weaver-Ulrich; and his sister Paula Fae Kimerling Wolfe.
