He was predeceased by: his father Theopolis Jones, Sr.; his former wife Deborah Owens Jones; his wife Irene Crowley Jones; and his son DeRand Jones. He is survived by: his son Devinne Jones (Randal); his close friend Ruby Crawford; his grandchildren, Kaylinne Jones and Krisna Jones; his stepgrandchildren, Khairi Steadmon and Treyon Wright; his siblings, Harriette White (Leon), Harold Jones, Sr. and Theopolis Jones, Jr.; and his nieces and nephews, Mitchell White (Zina), Harold Jones, Jr. (Deidra), Theopolis Michael Jones, Rhonda Jones, Ivey Jones, April Jones and Daphne Larenze.
