He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnny Fred Morgan and Bertha Mae Gregory Morgan; his grandparents, Zachariah Grant Colfax Morgan, Ann Adeline Morgan of Missouri, John M. Gregory and Telitha Christine Gregory; and his siblings, R. Jack Morgan, Imogene Morgan McCauley, Dr. Burma Morgan Wallace and Marie Morgan Nelson.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Elizabeth "Betty" Barnes Morgan; his children, Dr. John R. Morgan (Terri) and Elizabeth A. Morgan Brandon (Miles); his granddaughter Grace Elizabeth Brandon; and his children, James Randolph Morgan, Annamarye Ruth Morgan, Claire Logan Brandon and Sophie Gregory Brandon.
