He was predeceased by: his father Jesse Price Evans, Jr.; and his father-in-law Hugh Platt Stith, III. He is survived by: his wife Dawn Stith Evans; his sons, Jesse Price Evans IV (Lucy) and Martin Whitfield Evans (Lindsey); his grandchildren, Rowland Whitfield Evans, Thomas Shepherd Evans, Mary Clyde Agnes Evans and Sterling Allen Evans; his stepmother Barbara Morris Evans; his mother-in-law Diane Stith; and his brothers, Clayton Webb Evans (Angie) and Boyd Haney Evans. He is also survived by cousins, nephews, nieces, great-nephews, and great-nieces.
