He was predeceased by: his wife Julia McWhorter Dill; his daughter Jeannie Dill McLendon; his parents, Leonard Dill and Columbia White Dill (Lummie); and his siblings, Bill, Robert, Claude, Bernice Welborn and Hazel Napier.

He is survived by: his sons, Jimmy Dill (Diane) and Butch Dill; his grandchildren, Jana Zaragoza (Chris), Brooke Stewart (Jay), Brian McLendon (Emily) and Jennifer Brown (Steve); and his great grandchildren, Madeline Zaragoza Cottingham (Ben), Addison Stewart, Lauren Zaragoza, Julia Stewart, Hayes Brown, Gavin Brown, Will McLendon, Mary McLendon, Baker Stewart and Landon Brown.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to Lakeside Hospice in Pell City, The Jimmie Hale Mission in Birmingham, or to your favorite charity.
