She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl George Hanson and Gladys Morrison Hanson; her husband Dr. John Thomas Siegwart; and her brothers, Carl George Hanson, Jr., Daniel Hanson and Franklin Delano Hanson.

She is survived by: her children, Dr. John Thomas Siegwart, Jr. and Mary Elizabeth Siegwart Gadilhe (Michael); her grandchildren, Charlotte Elizabeth Gadilhe Gallagher (Adam), Laura Anna Gadilhe Noble and Joseph Michael Gadilhe (Sarah); and her great grandchild Georgia Ann Gadilhe.

Memorial contributions can be made to Memphis Botanic Garden.
