She was predeceased by: her parents, Murry Lawson and Ava Lawson; her husband James Donald Green; and her daughters, Robin Swindle and Jayne Jacobs.

She is survived by: her children, Velvet Winsted, Wanda Moore, Roger Green and James Green; and her siblings, Gladys, Ester, Bill and Vernon. She is also survived by her adopted children, a host of nieces and nephews, cousins, and extended family.
