She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Minnie Parker Ferguson and Paul Ferguson; her husbands, James P. "Pete" Garner and Lowell H. Tillman; her daughter Debrough "Debbie" Lynn Garner Stark; her son-in-law Eric "Rick" Stark; her granddaughters, Julie Stark (Matthew Vormbrock) and Amy Stark (Jennifer); and her great grandchild Emma Lynn Vormbrock. She was also cherished by one of nine siblings with numerous extended family.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Mary Queen of Angels in Nashville in Bessie Tillman's honor.
