She is survived by: her children, Kimberly Bean (Nelson), Chapman Lee, Meagher Whigham (Wagon), Lucie Haynes (Brad) and Helen Hyde (Cabot); her grandchildren, Elizabeth Bean Ryan (Will), Nelson Bean (Ali), Chapman Bean (Marguerite), Bradley Haynes, Ann Chapman Haynes, Corley Haynes, McKee Haynes, Carter Hyde, Cabot Hyde, Mary Lee Hyde, Allie Whigham, Ann Whigham and Robert Whigham; and her stepdaughter Bet Bet Cox.
