She was predeceased by: her parents, Alice Barnes and Ralph Barnes; and her brothers, Randall Barnes and Leland Barnes. She is survived by: her sons, John Phillip Shepherd (Cindy) and William David Shepherd (Nancy); her grandchildren, Maryalice Shepherd Hocutt (Cody), Linnie Frances Shepherd, Hanna Vivian Shepherd and Scott Shepherd; her great grandchildren, Phillip Hughston Shepherd, John Coger Shepherd, Ryder Dale Hocutt and Reed David Hocutt; her nephews, Clay Barnes and Will Barnes; her niece Allyson Barnes Westbrook; and her son Phil Shepherd.
