He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie Jones and Gladys Jones; and his brother Jimmy Jones. He is survived by: his daughter Cynthia Freeman (Keith); his stepdaughter LeeAnn Lawrence (Brad); his grandchildren, Tyler Risner and Abigail Risner; and his stepgrandchildren, Austin Lawrence and Gracie Lawrence.
