She was predeceased by: her father Carl Charles of Georgia; her former husband Hoyt Latham; her husband James Thomas; her son Roger Latham; her stepson Norman Thomas; and her brothers, Dyane Charles and James Charles.
She is survived by: her sons, Larry Latham (Joan), Dennis Latham (Debbie), Perry Latham (Donna), Tony Latham (Denise) and Danny Latham (Johna); her stepdaughter Paulette Thomas Hogan-Leach; her daughter-in-law Sylvia Latham; and her sister Cherry Sue Charles Bowen. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, and 8 great great grandchildren.
