He was predeceased by: his parents, Cornelius Hornsby and Clara Light Hornsby; his former wife Fay Hornsby; his siblings, Irene Hornsby, Della Fletcher, Villa Dean King, Nellie Ruth Walker, Noel Hornsby, Gene Hornsby, Katie Brown and Dianne Powell; his children, Jamey Hornsby and Kelly Berry; and his grandsons, Jacob and Adam Hornsby.
He is survived by: his wife Mellicha Hornsby; his daughter Suzy Hale; his stepchildren, Darin Phillips (Teresa), Terri Parrish and Elaine Whitley (Keith); and his brother-in-law Mickey Brown. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, family and friends.
