She was predeceased by: her parents, Laura Hooper and Fred Hooper; and her husband Marshall. She is survived by: her children, Buddy Green (Karen), Melinda Norris, Stephanie Boyd and Jennifer Green; her grandchildren, Kathryn Hagan (Lane), Hannah Wyatt (Whitney), William Green (Mallory), Daniel Faulkner, Elizabeth Boyd and Emilyn Boyd; her great grandchildren, Libby, Drew, Grace and Ann Curtis Hagan; and her grandchildren, Will, Caroline, John Green and Miles Wyatt.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Libby's Friends, a nonprofit started in honor of Betty's great-granddaughter, which aims to ease the financial burden of living with a disability.
