It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sylvia J. Harrell of Atmore, Alabama, who passed away on January 16, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Otis A. Barnes and Jessie "Catherine" Byrd Barnes; her husband Aubrey Ray Harrell, Sr.; her son Donald Barnes; and her siblings, Sylvester Barnes, Hollis Terry Barnes, Henry E. "Pete" Barnes, Wyvonne Barnes, Barbara Hendrix and Opal Morris.
She is survived by: her children, Aubrey Ray Harrell, Jr., Jeffrey Rey Harrell, Sharon Kay Murell and Brenda Renee Harrell; and her sister Zelma Emory. She is also survived by her grandchildren; her great grandchildren and her nieces and nephews.
