It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Pauline Coker Ward of Atmore, Alabama, born in Goodway, Alabama, who passed away on February 12, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Paschal Coker and Nettie Ramsey Coker; and her husband James Lavaughn Ward. She is survived by: her daughter Sheliah Sawyer (J. P.) of Huxford, AL; her siblings, John C. Coker of Opelika, AL, Kenneth Coker (Margaret) of Mobile, AL and Kathryn Letts of Wetumpka, AL; her grandchildren, Carlie Crutchfield, John Patrick Sawyer and Victoria Sawyer Cain (Austin); and her great grandchildren, Aubrianna, Railen and Haegan. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
