He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Duval and Martha Johnson Thompson; and his wife Judy Elaine Thompson. He is survived by: his children, Courtney Harrison (Chris) of Atmore, AL, Valerie Reddix (Mychal) of Spanish Fort, AL, Shayne Godwin (Ashley) of Fairhope, AL, Blake Godwin (Marie) of Daphne, AL, Shelley Donald (Billy) of Walnut Hill, FL and Hope Lassiter (Shawn) of Atmore, AL; his siblings, Wilton "Boo" Thompson (Janice) of Century, FL, Martha Sansom (John) of Flomaton, AL, Eileen Thompson of Flomaton, AL and Patricia Thompson of Flomaton, AL; his grandchildren, Megan, Caitlyn, Hannah, Baylie, Natalie, Eli, Sydnie, Kylie, Meredith, Harper, Riley, Julian, Cam, Sebastian and Adrianna; and his close friend Kaitlin Morris. He is also survived by eight great grandchildren along with his nurse.
