It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ralph Wayne Saxon of Ashland, Alabama, born in Clay, Alabama, who passed away on January 31, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Saxon and Ollive Wright Saxon; his grandchild Kane East; and his siblings, Robert, Dwight, John M., Bayward, Ezell Carter, Martha Perry and Lovena Gibson.
He is survived by: his wife Doris Saxon; his children, Jennifer Saxon (Larry Griffin) of Lineville, Ollive East (Christopher) of Ashland, John M. Saxon (Melanie Waldrop) of Ashland and Wayne Saxon of Ashland; his grandchildren, Jasmine Griffin Barkley, Gavin, Gabby East, Mollie, Jenna Saxon, Aaron Messer, Kendra and Acie Waldrop; his great grandchild Gannon; and his siblings, Gaynell Peters of Newsite and Roy Saxon of Ashland.
The family requests no flowers, contributions will be greatly appreciated or donations to St. Jude or a favorite charity in Mr. Saxon's name can also be done.
