He is survived by: his sons, Ian Bristol (Heidi) of Morganton, Craig Avondo (Angela) of Elizabeth City and Jeff Avondo of Greensboro; his siblings, Ronald Bristol (Lois) of Rutland, VT and Diane Marel of East Moulton, MN; his grandchildren, Alana, Greysen Bristol, Cyndi Taft and Dustin Spruill; and also, Evelyn Forman, Sherry Browning (Randall) of Chandler Springs, Danny Forman (Jemima) of Ashland, Cathy Smith of Ashland, Doug Forman of Ashland, Rita East (Jody) of Ashland and Saddie Halford (Leon) of Ashland. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
