She was predeceased by: her mother Gladys Ann McQueen Hornsby; and also Ashley Carr. She is survived by: her father Jon Hornsby; her sisters, Julianne McCain (Bill) and Jenny Morgan (John); and her nieces and nephews, Ezekiel Worst, Roxana Morgan, Malachi Morgan, Alina Morgan, Zachary Haynes, Jeremy Haynes and Ainsley Haynes. She is also survived by friend, a beloved daughter, an amazing sister, and a favorite aunt.
In remembrance of Joni, the family requests sending memorial donations to an animal shelter, to Alabama State Parks, or to some other organization devoted to the conservation of wildlife and natural habitat.
