She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Howard Gilpin and Buna Mae Milam Gilpin; her husband James "Jimmy" Wilson, Sr.; and her sister Peggy Bohannon. She is survived by: her children, Pamela Wilson of Odenville, Shannon Hallmark (Skip) of Talladega, Randy Camp (Tammy) of Ashland and Warren Wilson (Martha) of Ashland; and her sister Dyan Gilpin Perry of Ashland. She is also survived by 11 Grandchildren and 17 Great-Grandchildren, and a large extended family.
