It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sharon Denise Barnes Spruiel of Arab, Alabama, who passed away on January 8, 2023, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jim Barnes and Mary King Barnes; her husband Thomas Spruiel Jr.; her sons, Wesley and Jacob; and her brother Mike Barnes.
She is survived by: her family, Evan Spruiel, Ragan and Kamryn Barnes; her daughter Valerie Spruiel; her siblings, Larry Barnes (Pat), Danny Barnes (Charlotte) and Sandra Grace; and her grandson Evan Spruiel. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family has suggested that donations be made to St. Jude's Children Hospital for Cancer Research.
