It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Fayenell Plunkett of Arab, Alabama, born in Cullman, Alabama, who passed away on May 4, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Middleton Lawrence and Ruth Clarabelle Lane Easterwood; her husband James Hoyt Plunkett; her siblings, Bernard Easterwood, Claud Easterwood, Evard Easterwood, Calvin Easterwood, Grace Blair, Agnes Easterwood, Florene Easterwood and Verdie Easterwood; and her son Joseph Hoyt Plunkett.
She is survived by: her son James Plunkett (Sara) of Arab; her grandchildren, Bradley Plunkett (Jordan) of Atlanta, Isaac Plunkett (Amanda) of Trussville, Levi Plunkett (Nicki) of Arab, Maggie Lonsway (Mel) of Springhill, TN and Kristen Crocker (Kyle) of Charleston, SC; and her great grandchildren, Hoyt Plunkett of Arab, Teagan, Tinsley of Trussville, Mazie and Nellie Plunkett.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St Jude's Childrens Research Hospital.
