She was predeceased by: her parents, Hubert Slater and Lizzie Slater; her husband Elmo Elrod; and her sisters, Madge Fox, Dot Gilley and Martha Marshall.
She is survived by: her children, Lou Ann Carver and John Elrod (Tina); her grandchildren, Alicia Roe (Daniel), Justin Elrod, Lindsey James (Paul) and Claire Carver; and her great grandchildren, Lily Roe, Ella Roe, Maggie Roe and Houston James.
In lieu of flowers the family has asked for donations to be made to The Annie Armstrong Easter Offering at Arab First Baptist Church, thank you.
