He was predeceased by: his mother Elna Walker; and his siblings, Gail Troup, Harvey and Wayne Walker. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Walker; his children, Dana Jackson (Chuck), Donald Walker (Tammy), Allen Walker (Wendy) and Jamie Compton (Trent); his sisters, Judy Schultz, Karen Rogers and Susan Hendrix (Anthony); and his brother-in-law Thomas Troup.
