He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Alexander "Alec" Hall and Grace Beatrice Atwell Hall of Virginia; his adoptive daughter Shirley Ann Hall; his sisters, Viola Hall Dunford and Olivette Hall Darnell; his half-sister Elizabeth June Stone Adams; and his brother Daniel R. Hall.
He is survived by: his wife Ruby Hall; his children, Dwayne Hall (Ellen) and Susan Hall; his adoptive son Caleb Hall; his children, David Miller (Tonya), Kevin Edward Miller, William Russel Snook, Christina Miller, Tammie Raye Snook and Amber Michelle Snook; his brother David Jesse Hall; and his half-sister Linda Pasley. He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
