It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harvey Martin Vaughn Sr. of Arab, Alabama, who passed away on July 11, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jay Vaughn and Mattie Mae Vaughn; his siblings, Junior Vaughn, Larry Glen Vaughn, Curtis Vaughn, Bobby Vaughn, Louise Pierce, Lola Owens, Polly Sortors, Faye Tucker and Joan Wallace; and his son-in-law Jerry Motte.
He is survived by: his wife Naomi Troup Vaughn; his children, Marty Vaughn (Deb) and Mona Motte; his sister Ann Rainwater; and his grandchildren, Heather Mitchell (Michael), Josh Vaughn, Lindy Vaughn, Jeremy Motte (Sophie), Jacob Motte (Lori) and Nathan Motte (Krista). He is also survived by 17 great grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and several other special family members and friends.
