She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Henry Brooks and Myrtle Pritchett Brooks; her husband Elvin Light; her children, Dr. James R. "Randy" Light (Sandra) and Brenda Light Lewter (Pete); her sister Wanda Byess; and her grandchildren, Micah Lewter (Lynnie) and Kristen Mullins (John).
In lieu of flowers the family suggest donations be made to the Gilliam Springs Baptist Church Mission Fund.
