We are sad to announce that on July 3, 2023, at the age of 88, Cherie Alta McNeal of Arab, Alabama, born in Freehold, New Jersey passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Cherie Alta McNeal to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ulysses Horner and Idarena S. Horner; her brother Roger Horner; her husband Glenn McNeal Jr.; and her son Danny McNeal.
She is survived by: her son Michael (Jane); her grandson Michael, Jr.; her son Steve (Laura); her grandchildren, Raegan, Logan, Jacob, Tom (Kerrie), Caroline, Olivia, Katherine and Amanda Cole (McNeal); her great grandchild Kaitlin (Jacob); her granddaughter Tammy Willis (McNeal); her great grandchildren, Josie and Sam; and her sister Carol McGovern (Tom). She is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
To honor the memory of Cherie her family has requested that in lieu-of-flowers, donations be made to the Arab Wesleyan Church Building Fund, Arab First United Methodist 'Christmas and Beyond' Fund or Shepherd's Cove Hospice of Albertville who provided such great care in her final days.
