It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rebecca Rozelle Burt of Anniston, Alabama, born in Talladega, Alabama, who passed away on April 6, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Henry McKenzie "Mack" Burt, Jr.; her daughter Mary Rozelle Burt Lentjes; her parents, Mary Rozelle and E. B. Rozelle; and her siblings, Clarence, Edward, Harold Rozelle and Mary Ann Thompson.
She is survived by: her son Bill (Sharon); her grandchildren, Rebecca Lentjes, William and Dana; her great grandchildren, Theo Lentjes of Atlanta, Jack Lentjes of Atlanta and Caitlin Browder of Atlanta; her son-in-law David Lentjes of Atlanta; her stepgranddaughter Elizabeth Sellers Myrick (Dustin); and her sons, Nolan and Reece of Birmingham.
The family requests that those who wish to make gifts in Rebecca's memory make contributions to the Church of St. Michael and All Angels.
