He is survived by: his close friend Jean; his wife Barbara Jean Lauderdale; his children, Danielle Lewallen, Christy Lauderdale and Rick Lauderdale (Emily); his grandchildren, Ashlie Lauderdale (Scott Johnson), David McDaniel, II (Sarah), Cayden Lewallen, Alex Davis and Jackson Davis; his great grandchildren, Dawson McDaniel and Declan McDaniel; his siblings, Patricia Sexton, Charles Lauderdale and James Lauderdale; and his brothers-in-law, Billy Lankford and Lynn Royall. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
