It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jewel Cauley Smith of Alexander City, Alabama, born in Bessemer, Alabama, who passed away on June 18, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Burey C. Cauley and Dura Stanley Cauley; and her husband Neil Smith of Alexander City, Alabama.. She is survived by: her children, Randy Smith (Jacqui) of Mount Pleasant, Angie Webster (Jimmy) of Birmingham, Alabama and David Smith (Tonja) of Spartanburg; her grandchildren, Brittany Smith of Woodstock, Georgia, Sarah Abigail Smith of Atlanta, Georgia, Zack Smith (Jessica) of Phoenix, Arizona, Drew Webster of Atlanta, Georgia, Cole Smith, Laurel Smith of Spartanburg, Mayfield Reynolds (Holli) of Raleigh and Forest Reynolds (Kacey) of Spartanburg; and her great grandchildren, Everett Reese Reynolds and Foster Crockett Reynolds of Raleigh. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
