It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Autry Rowe of Alexander City, Alabama, who passed away on October 4, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Oliver J. Rowe and Mattie L. Rowe; and his wife Connie J. Maxwell. He is survived by: his sisters, Betty J. Hawkins, Billie J. Westbrooks and Linda S. Hawkins; his daughter Tabetha Rowe; his granddaughter Kayliana Sweetwyne; and his siblings, Mary Lois Peterson, Joseph Hawkins, Bennie Roy Rowe (Gwendolyn) of Alexander City and David Rowe of Montgomery, Alabama.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
