It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edna Mae Nelson Thomas of Alexander City, Alabama, who passed away on July 13, 2021, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude E. Nelson and Carrie Nelson; her birth mother Eunice Adell Scott Nelson (William Garrett Thomas); and her siblings, Everett Nelson, Evalene Hutcherson and Nell Baker.
She is survived by: her sibling Garon Nelson (Toni); her granddaughter Tracy Hannah (Jon); and her great grandchildren, Karson and Garrett. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
