He was predeceased by: his parents, Hardy Clark Dean and Gladys Shurum Dean; and his siblings, Clarece Sasser, Daniel Dean and Gene Dean.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Stoffregen Dean; his daughters, Shelia Martin (Jimmy) and Jacqueline Colley (Ricky); his grandchildren, Marshall Coger, Skylar Simpson and Jackson Colley; his great grandchildren, Remy Butler, Kelby Coger and Garrett Simpson; and his siblings-in-law, Eric Stoffregen (Matha Kay), Wayne Stoffregen and Linda Stoffregen. He is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
