She was predeceased by: her parents, Alta Mae and Dennis Carlin; her brother Dennis Carlin Jr. (Ronald Rickett); and her sons, Donald Simmons Jr. and Danny Simmons.
She is survived by: her daughter Gwen Garrett (Lane Garrett); and her granddaughters, Samantha Garrett and Vicki Garrett (Edward Chauca). She is also survived by cousins and dear nieces and nephews.
The family suggests memorial gifts, in lieu of flowers, be made to the American Heart Association of the VFW.
