It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edgar P. Wallen of Alabaster, Alabama, born in Auxier, Kentucky, who passed away on August 29, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Thelma Gladys Walter Wallen and Ervin Wallen; his sister Nancy Wallen Sparks; and his niece Nancy Holliday Dees. He is survived by: his wife Tommie; his stepdaughter Anne Crabbe (Scott Crabbe); his grandchildren, Noah, Macey (Pooh) and Joseph; his stepson Dr. Scott Kemp (Laurie); his grandsons, Scott Jr. and Jack; his nieces and nephews, Beverly Mattingly (Chris), Mary Saylor (Rick), Linda Mccranie, Pam Walters, Melissa Wright, Emily Martin (Chris), Barry Wallen, Shane Walters, Chad Holliday, Seth Wallen and Joe Wallen; and his siblings, Douglas Wallen of Pataskala, David Wallen (Jane) of Louisa, Kentucky., Anna Walters (Ed) of Tallahassee and Karen Holliday (Ron) of Tallahassee.
After retiring from the 25 year pastorate in Hueytown he formed Bible Study Foundation and assumed the responsibility for the Ukraine ministry which many of you have been a part of.
